BCU 1 and 2 Star Courses, North East and Northumberland
Course Aims:
These two day training and assessment course use canoes and kayaks to give a broad range of skills. We will paddle together and you will be receive first class coaching in kayak and open canoe. At the end of the two days, if you have reached the required standard, you’ll receive your BCU 1 or 2 Star Award. It couldn’t be easier!

The River Tyne in Northumberland.
Pre-requisites:
For 1 star no experience is required. For 2 star, you should be already working towards 2 Star standard and have completed at least one two hour trip
