Course Aims:
Successful performance at this level indicates that a candidate reached the top level of performance and has advanced personal skills and is able to lead groups in advanced conditions. They have the skill required to lead a group of 4 competent paddlers on advanced river journeys and on remote, open water in canoes.
Pre-requisites – BCU Four Star Open Canoe or equivalent standard is the appropriate level of performance for paddlers to begin working towards the Five Star Leaders Award.
