Personal Coaching and Guided Trips
As a BCU Level 5 Sea Kayak Coach, I organise custom designed courses for individuals and small groups – whether you are new to sea kayaking or an intermediate/advanced kayaker. We’ll tailor a trip to suit your experience and what you’d like to see. These are normally between one and five days catering for all abilities, from absolute beginner to the most advanced sea kayaker. Customising means there is rarely such a thing as a typical course. Although I have a maximum group size of six, this can often be smaller enabling us to match abilities for maximum enjoyment. For experienced sea kayakers looking to discover sea kayaking in Northumberland, there are full-day guided trips and multi-day trips with overnight camping. Coaching and skill improvements days are a speciality, and can be booked at times to suit you.
The coast of Northumberland offers something for every sea kayaker. We can relax and enjoy the cliffs, arches and caves around St Abbs. We can take the challenge of open crossings and tide races around the Farne Island, Bass Rock and the Isle of May. We can enjoy the sandy beaches and castles of Holy Island and the historic Northumberland shoreline. We can float amongst the rafts of puffins, guillemots and seals.
Course fees are £200 for one person, £150 each for two, £125 each for three, £90 each for four, £80 each for five and £75 each for six people.
I am based in the north of England, borders of Scotland and Cumbria, and if you’d like to venture further afield we can arrange that too!
Whatever you wish to achieve, contact me at kim@kimbull.co.uk to discuss your needs. Remember, I can arrange your BCU Three, Four and Five star Training and Assessment courses, and your BCU Coastal Navigation and Tidal Planning course.
