Sea Kayak Safety and Incident Management

Pre-requisite ability: Participants should be paddling at the standard of or hold the BCU 3 star standard
This two day course is designed to help you react to incidents in an efficient and professional way. You will learn how to prevent problems and deal with the incidents that occur on the sea using the approaches used to train professional coaches and leaders. We will start with priorities of rescue and how to deal with common incidents, and develop your skills so you can rely on them in complex situations, and in the conditions where you will need them; prepare to get wet!
